Common Milkweed - Asclepias syriaca

There is an open field near the Leid Center on the KU campus that is full of common milkweed. I love the palest pink-purple balls of flowers produced by these plants. This field on this day was heavy with the floral fragrance and the flowers full of bees. Such a happy buzzing place.
