Welcome
I am a plant ecologist and botanist working at the Kansas Biological Survey. Drawing upon my scientific background, teaching experience, and landscaping training, I manage a variety of projects for the Kansas Native Medicinal Plant Research program, including our Native Plant Medicinal Gardens. Our work focuses on the ethnobotany of native plants, but also encompasses conservation, prairie ecology and wetlands ecology.
On this website, you will learn about my research, my work at the Medicinal Plant Gardens, and my botanical explorations.
